This one is for Mom. “The Little Drummer Boy” is a stop motion Christmas special that first aired back in 1968. Sadly, I can never find it on TV anymore but I do have a DVD with this show and several other Christmas specials on it. The story was written by Romeo Muller and the Vienna Boys Choir sings the title song for this show.
“The Little Drummer Boy” has been covered by many artists over the years. Last year for the 9th Day of Christmas Tfronky Style you heard a version by Bing Crosby and David Bowie. My Mom loves this version and I have to admit, it is a very beautiful and touching rendition. Check out the last scene from the Christmas special.
