On the eleventh day of Christmas Tfronky Style

Jimmy Durante - "Frosty the Snowman"
“Frosty the Snowman” first aired on television December 7, 1969. Since I was only eight months old at the time if I watched it I have no recollection of that but this is one of those Christmas specials I make a point of watching every holiday season. Let’s face it, Christmas is about the kids and a tale of a snowman coming to life is the kind of magic that makes Christmas a special holiday.

This was comedian Jimmy Durante’s final performance in a film with his role as the narrator of the story. The original song was recorded by Gene Autry in 1950. I’m partial to the TV version by Durante. Enjoy.

Cheers!
