On the seventh day of Christmas Tfronky Style

Nat King Cole - "The Christmas Song"Good morning everyone,

I really don’t care what genre of music you prefer or even if you celebrate Christmas. “The Christmas Song” from Nat King Cole HAS to be one of the most gorgeous recordings, an absolute classic and necessity during the holidays. Cole actually made four different recordings of this song written in 1944 by musician, composer, and vocalist Mel Tormé and Bob Wells. Cole produced recordings of the track in 1946 (two of them that year), 1953 and 1961. The second recording in 1946 became a huge pop hit but the 1961 track is generally considered to be the definitive Nat King Cole version.

What a beautiful tune, a perfect way to start your Monday.

Cheers!
